Piano Lessons
I design each lesson I offer according to my students’ abilities, and make the necessary changes once I become more familiar with their needs. I teach students of all ages from Elementary age children through adults.
Voice Lessons
In voice lessons, I focus on teaching foundational techniques and healthy singing that can be utilized in any genre of singing from Classical, to Musical Theatre, and beyond. It is important to me that students understand how their voices work and how to use the tools I provide at home.
For voice lessons, I work with students and adults of any age!

For voice lessons, I recommend either 45 minute or 60 minute lessons. This is because it takes time to check in with my students personally and to go through proper vocalizations. Once this is done, we will typically have time to work on 1-3 pieces of repertoire per lesson.
Please note - Some lessons will have more talking than others as I get to know students, their needs, and what is affecting their voice. Unlike any other instrument, the voice is attached to your body and a part of you. That makes voice lessons more personal and can take time to check in on matters that affect the voice.

Math Tutoring
I provide private tutoring for Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Depending on availability, I may be able to take students enrolled in 6th-8th grade math.

Math tutoring can be offered online via Zoom/Skype and an online collaborative whiteboard (www.bitpaper.io). I have been tutoring students utilizing this online method for over two years now and am very pleased with the collaborative functions available online and how productive the sessions are. I am happy to begin meeting in person and switch to online tutoring after a student gets to know me. I am also happy to provide a free 15 minute consultation using these tools.

I recommend one to two consistent 60 minute sessions per week. If a student feels comfortable overall with the material but likes to check in to discuss key concepts or go over current homework, they are likely fine meeting once per week. However, if a student is struggling with their math class, meeting multiple times a week will give us the time to cover topics as they are covered in class in order to set students up for success.
Consistency is key.
ACT/SAT Preparation
I tailor my ACT/SAT instruction based on the particular needs of the student. Regardless of what the student needs, however, a great first step is to take a diagnostic test to determine which standardized test is the best fit. Next, we are able to go through the practice test results to determine which sections need the most work and which concepts we need to review. From here, some students like to work through practice tests together, while others like to take practice tests on their own and mark specific questions to go over. Regardless of which method works best for your student, we cover different strategies for succeeding on the test.

Just like with math tutoring, this can be done online via Zoom/Skype and an online collaborative whiteboard (www.bitpaper.io). I will recommend specific supplemental books depending on the test your student is taking.
